This afternoon we had a go at making our own pan flutes. They were really cool and we made lots of different sounds including sounds with high pitches and low pitches.
Today, in science, we were playing musical instruments to investigate how the pitch of a sound changes.

Today we began planning our lighthouses.
We enjoyed looking at OS maps and found the symbols we had learnt about. We also used our grid reference knowledge to find places.

Buddy wanted to make a Christmas card like us but made a mess in the process!
Buddy loves reading. He loves reading so much so that he read lots of books last night and left a mess for Otter class to clear up!

This week, in science, we have been learning about the water cycle. We had so much fun recreating the water cycle in a plastic bag. We observed the different processes.
In computing we have been learning about the importance of the internet and how it works. We couldn’t believe that once upon a time there was such a thing as dial up internet!
In Maths this week, we have been learning about multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000.
Today, in science, we investigated whether temperature affects how quickly a solid turns into a liquid.
