Today we learnt how to skip. We were lucky enough to be taught lots of different tricks with the skipping rope. We are excited to use the new ropes to skip on the playground!
14/11/2019 - Today we continued our Mapping unit by exploring 4 figure grid references and setting challenges for our group!
13/11/2019 - Today we began exploring the features of a newspaper report. We enjoyed reading an article from The Sporting News.
We also made finger puppets to retell the story of Rama and Sita!
This week we have been learning about Hinduism. We learnt that Hindus celebrate a festival called Diwali - the festival of light. Today we completed lots of different activities to celebrate Diwali, including, making Rangoli patterns with coloured rice and designing henna patterns. We enjoyed this a lot!
15/10/2019 - Today was our Harvest Festival. We enjoyed going to the church and singing the songs we had learnt.
03/10/2019 - Today is National Poetry day. Owl Class enjoyed reading a selection of poems out loud to one another. Some were very funny!
Year 4 have been learning about Anglo-Saxon hill forts. Today they enjoyed creating a miniature version together!
