Dear parent

If it becomes necessary to close our school, either due to lack of staff or direct instruction from the DFE, you will be able to access a range of learning activities to support you at home via your child’s class page on the school website. These will be updated on a daily basis by class teachers. The work provided is an interim solution and in no way replaces quality first teaching at school. We would of course like the children to continue with daily reading and basic number activities.

We understand that every family situation will be different. Therefore, there is no obligation to complete these activities. Accessing work through the website may not be possible for all children. Alternative work can be prepared and provided on paper; please let us know if you require this. It is also important that we have up to date contact and email information for your family.

We hope you feel reassured that provision will continue in a way that is manageable for families. Please see below for further details
