A message from the Year 6 team

Hi everyone,

We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas with your family and got lots of treats. As you already know, we are now in lockdown and so we will be learning remotely until February half term. From today, work will be on the class pages for you to access like it was before. Either today or tomorrow, you will receive a letter/email from Mr Hobbs about 'TEAMS'. This will be the new way of accessing your work and uploading for us to look at. Each day you will get some assignments that you will complete and then submit back to us. Some of the assignments will have a video to support your learning.

We also expect you to continue to read daily and complete AR quizzes after the book is finished. New spellings will be added weekly to SpellingShed. Please practise for 10 minutes a day. For maths, we would like you to practise your times tables through MathsShed. If you do not have a login for these sites, please email us back and we can give you that information again.

We know this is a tough time for you all but keeping in a routine and complete your work will be really helpful for you. We will be able to keep in touch with you all using 'TEAMS'. More details will be shared soon about this.

We are really looking forward to seeing all your wonderful work.

Take care

Mr Robbins and Mrs Mills
